What We Ordered at Com Linh Hoi An

After a long day, we walked to Com Linh restaurant for an early dinner. The location is quite convenient, located about a few minutes walk from Hoian Central Hotel, where we stayed. Since it was still early, we were happy to be seated quickly. The staff was very attentive and brought us several menus right away.
The seating area is limited, so if you are coming alone, you may have to share a table. The customers were a mix of both locals and tourists.

The menu at Com Linh offers a delicious variety of traditional dishes that you can find in most restaurants in Hoi An. If you want to sample a range of flavors, I recommend trying their mixed platter, which includes a bit of everything.
We ordered several signature dishes: roast duck, roast pork belly, spring rolls, and Cao Lau.

The food arrived quickly and was served promptly at our table. The presentation was exceptional, and everything was cooked with fresh ingredients, spices, and herbs.
The service was excellent, and the staff took the time to explain the local way of enjoying each dish.
Com Linh Signature Dish – Roasted duck

We particularly enjoyed the roasted duck. It was one of the tastiest things I’ve ever eaten in Hoi An.

The duck meat was tender and juicy, making it a must-try.
Crispy Roast Pork

The roast pork was also quite tasty, with perfectly crisp edges. While it was good, the roasted duck definitely stole the show.
Local Hoi An Dish – White Rose, Cau Lau, Spring Roll

When visiting Hoi An, one local dish you must try is the white rose dumplings. This delicacy is shaped like a white rose, with a delicate skin wrapped around a filling that resembles a rose. The dumplings are filled with minced shrimp or pork, topped with crunchy bits of garlic, and served with a sweet dipping sauce.
The best place to try these dumplings is the White Rose Restaurant, which supplies them to various eateries throughout Hoi An. Even if you don’t visit the White Rose Restaurant specifically, you can enjoy these dumplings at any Vietnamese restaurant, such as Com Linh.
The white rose dumplings we tried at Com Linh tasted great.

The spring rolls were fresh and truly excellent.

Com Linh offers a variety of local noodle dishes, including Cao Lau, Mi Quang, pho, and more. We decided to order the Mi Quang as our main dish. However, I found the local specialty, Cao Lau noodles, to be a bit too chewy for my taste. It wasn’t bad, but it may just be a matter of personal preference.
In short, we enjoyed everything and had nothing left on our plates! The food was very fresh and delicious, and we loved it immensely. The prices were quite reasonable. While it may not be the cheapest option depending on your budget, we found it to be a great value for the high-quality food at this sit-down restaurant. What a fantastic find! We walked out of Com Linh feeling satisfied and happy.
As we were leaving, we noticed a long line waiting for tables. The restaurant was full, and a small queue had formed outside with people sitting on little red seats on the street. If you plan to visit, make sure to arrive early to secure your seats.
Overall: Com Linh Food Review

Overall, Cơm Linh comes highly recommended for its tasty food, reasonable prices, and authentic Vietnamese atmosphere. The roast duck is a must-try dish. With so many dining options in Hoi An, you can’t go wrong by choosing this spot. You won’t be disappointed and we absolutely loved it. It’s the perfect place to satisfy your cravings for local Central Vietnam region dishes.
